Julia Valtanen’s solo exhibition “What Grows Between Us”

Join us for the opening of Julia Valtanen’s solo exhibition, What Grows Between Us, on March 13, 2025, at 6 p.m.!

Julia Valtanen is an Estonian artist based in Tallinn, known for her vibrant paintings and intricate paper collages. Born in 1988, she earned a master’s degree in graphic design and later refined her artistic practice by completing a painting course at the Estonian Academy of Arts.

Valtanen’s work is deeply rooted in a holistic understanding of the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment. She views phenomena, systems, and organisms as interconnected structures, where every element influences and shapes the whole. Reinterpreting natural forms, she transforms them into new spaces that challenge the boundaries between reality and imagination. Her compositions blend abstract and figurative elements, encouraging viewers to engage their own interpretations.

This year, we are pleased to present a more versatile selection of art media, while remaining committed to showcasing only what is truly relevant today. We are excited and looking forward to embarking on this journey together!

13.3.2025 at 6 p.m.

Allveelaeva 4 (entrance from Vesilennuki street!)

The exhibition will remain open until May 4th.
